About the Pastors...


In the summer of 1989, God spoke to Pastor J.C. Neff  to move to Effingham, Illinois and start a work for Him.  God instructed  him to emphasize faith and the move of the Holy Spirit.  With that mandate before him, the first service of Grace Family Church began September  10, 1989.

From that day until this, Pastor Neff and his wife, Jessie, have preached the Word of God without compromise and have contended for the outpouring of God. Their simple, down to earth teaching and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit have opened many doors for them to minister the goodness of God to their congregation as well as other stateside and overseas locations. The  Neff's have hosted the Crossroads of America Holy Ghost Camp Meetings in Effingham, Illinois for the previous six  years, drawing hungry hearts from across the Midwest.

Pastors J.C. and Jessie Neff were born again in 1982, and the following year attended RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they graduated in 1985. Rev. J.C. Neff is ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Alumni International. Rev. Jessie Neff is ordained through Mark Brazee Ministries.
